BoldWater® TVTM - BoldWater TV is the exciting flagship channel of outdoor recreational and water sports themed content delivered by BW Media Group through the internet to its affiliate partner locations. The BoldWater brand is recognized globally as an industry leader in marine creative services and is used under license from BoldWater Inc.
Digital signage - A form of electronic display that is installed in public spaces. Digital signs are typically used to entertain, inform or advertise (together known as “adfotainment”). Major benefits of digital signs over traditional static signs are that the content can be exchanged more easily, animations can be shown and the signs can adapt to the context and audience, even interactively. Digital signage advertising is a form of out-of-home advertising in which content and messages are displayed on digital signs, typically with the goal of delivering targeted messages to specific locations at specific times. Digital signage offers superior return on investment compared to traditional printed signs.
Affiliate Partner - High traffic retail businesses under contract as media player locations.
Network Service Area (NSA) - A defined geographic location that contains one or more networks.
Network - A group of Affiliate Partner locations make up a network.
National Ad - Ad space sold by the NSG or its representative that plays on multiple networks in the designated National Ad network space.
Regional Ad - Ad space sold by the Lease Operator or his representative that plays in one or more networks within an NSA.
Sidebar Ad - A static ad placed to the right of the content programming that displays for 12 seconds, 6 times per hour. Sidebars are produced by BW Media Group as part of the advertisers contract.
Feature Ad - A 30 second still image or video ad that is incorporated into the content programming. Still ads and Video ads are the advertisers responsibility to produce and supply to BW Media Group in a specific format.
Ticker Graphic - A graphic image branded with the Affiliate Partner’s information. Ticker graphics are created by BW Media Group and delivered with the media player installation.
Pic of the Week - A series of 3 photos branded with the POW Sponsor’s info that rotates through the programming schedule. POW candidates are emailed to BW Media Group for selection, branding, and distribution across the networks.
BWTV Media Player (Player) - The proprietary equipment used to deliver BoldWater TV to the Affiliate location. Connected to a high-speed Internet server and one or more widescreen TVs.
IPTV - Internet Protocol Television or television content that, instead of being delivered through traditional broadcast and cable formats, is received by the viewer through technologies normally used for computer networks.
