Salty Marine Canaveral Mac Attack

The upcoming Salty Marine Canaveral Mac Attack to be held September 4^th, 2009 will take place at and 5

BoldWater TV in cooperation with the Canaveral Mac Attack will provide a real time leader board during the tournaments weigh in on Saturday  Sept. 5th, 2009.

This is the tournaments 6^th year at Port Canaveral and this year sports a new one day format and multi specie prize structure that will include cash prizes for Kingfish, Dolphin and Cobia. Each category will pay out $3000.00 cash for first place. Anglers who elect to join the Southern Kingfish Association or those already members will be eligible to compete for an additional $9,000.00 in cash to be awarded in the kingfish category.  The tournament also has cash payouts for Lady, Junior and Senior anglers as well. A small boat division, the “Class of 23” will pay cash to the top three boats that are less than 23 feet in length. Over $30,000.00 in cash and prizes will be given away over the weekend.

The tournament is open to all anglers and registration is open from 3pm until 9 pm at the tournament site at Fish Lips on Friday September 4^th. Don’t miss the Captains street party hosted by Fish Lips on friday night beginning at 5 pm till late. Lots of food, drinks and entertainment, a great raffle with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise given away and special guest Captain George Mitchell and friends with the Yamaha Saltwater School will present a fun and interactive tournament edition just prior to the captains meeting.

This new one day tournament format will have extended fishing hours on Saturday. Anglers must check out with the tournament officials at Port Canaveral and can begin fishing at 6:30 am. Fishing can continue until 6pm and all boats must be past the check in boat located inside Port Canaveral by that time to be eligible to weigh their catch.

Weigh in Activities will take place at Fish Lips on the waterfront on Saturday the 5th from 3pm till 7pm with the awards celebration beginning at approximately 8 o’clock. Everyone is invited to join us at weigh in to cheer the anglers along as they bring their fish to the scales. Fish Lips is hosting the weigh in party with great food, fun and drinks until the last fish is weighed and the cash and prizes are awarded. Don’t miss this exciting and fun packed party on the waterfront.

BoldWater TV Welcomes Bunky’s Raw Bar, Indialantic

Bunky’s Raw Bar, located in Indialantic, joins the BoldwaterTV family of affiliates.  BW Media Group’s flagship network is up and running at Bunky’s of Indialantic and provides and active outdoor lifestyle television show that goes hand in hand with the atmosphere of the restaurant and is perfectly suited to their customers.

Bunky’s Raw Bar was founded in Satellite Beach May 29, 1981. The name “Bunky’s” was taken from a 40’s song by Eddie Johnson. The basic idea was to have a raw bar serving great seafood, chicken wings and a large selection of imported beers in a relaxed atmosphere. This was the start of Bunky’s.

Bunky’s has double the size of it’s menu and beer list since its inception. On April 5, 1990, Bunky’s moved from it’s original location in Satellite Beach two and a half miles South on A1A to a bigger location. Great fun was had at this spot. On June 25, 2008, Bunky’s moved yet again 4 miles South of it’s Satellite Beach location to Indialantic. Now we have bigger bar and dining room overlooking Paradise Park.

The center of attention are 4 fish tanks complete with eels, tropical reef fish and sharks. The tradition of good food, great staff and a casual atmosphere will continue to grow and new memories are made each day at our new location. The oyster are still freshly shucked to order and nobody can beat our yummy wings. The beers are icy cold and we’ve added our signature pitchers of shots.
